Phase 1: Defining The Project
Before we can get started, we need to know what we are working on. During this first phase of the product, we will provide you with a questionnaire that will help define the scope of the project. We will also analyze your target audience, as well as strengths and weaknesses of competitor's sites. This is also a good time to look at your current marketing materials to see if they are relevant to your brand.
Phase 2: Developing Site Structure
With Phase 2, the actual hands-on work begins. No matter the size of the budget, developing the site structure is what determines how your users will access the information on your website. You will be anxious to start seeing the visual design at this point, but developing the site structure is what will set up an excellent design. We will outline your entire site content, as well as create a content delivery plan.
Phase 3: Visual Design and Testing
Even before the user knows if the site is easy to use, they see what it looks like. This is where your project will start to get exciting. We will use all of the information that has been gathered to this point and use it to give your site a face. Your navigation and content will be confirmed. The overall goal is to create a prototype that will meet the goals set during Phase 1, as well as transfer smoothly into HTML.
Phase 4: Production and Quality Assurance
Everything starts coming together at this point. Your prototype site receives all of its content. Any backend programming that was required is implemented. While this goes on, we will carefully check your site to make sure that it holds up to the quality standards that were established early on. Any bugs will be identified, prioritized, and corrected. Your feedback will especially be appreciated at this point.
Phase 5: Launch and Beyond
Congratulations! Your site is complete and ready to launch. There are some things that need to be wrapped up in this phase, such as determining site maintenance, preparing the announcement plan, and actually delivering the completed project to you.
